There are now 2 cameras on the iPhone 7 plus with the iPhone 7 have only 1 camera. The dual lense feature have useful benefits and not just some gimmick apple put in to attract people. One of the camera is a normal wide angle camera while the other camera is a telephoto camera which provides an optical zoom like a DSLR camera instead of the normal software zoom. This means that you are now able to take pictures zooming in without losing much photo quality. Both cameras are 12 mega-pixels which is still the same as its predecessor, the iPhone 6s and 6s plus. However, the iPhone 7 plus can take great photos that even rivals DSLR cameras.

One slight problem is when you take pictures in low light environment or at night. There is a noticeable drop in picture quality when taking picture in low light places as there are a lot of "noise" in the picture which cause the picture to look like a picture from the early 2000s.
