The iPhone 7 plus is powered by the new and very powerful A10 Fusion chip. It is a quad-core chip with 2 high-performance and 2 power-efficient cores. The 2 power-efficient cores is very useful for light tasks such as checking e-mail so as to save on battery consumption.
The iPhone 7 plus also have a 3GB RAM to make multitasking between apps an easy task to accomplish.
Inside also contains battery that, according to my testing, gets around a full day of normal use or about 6-7 hours of heavy usage which is awesome for those of you who are using the iPhone 7 plus as a daily driver.
With the new home "button", there is a taptic engine for vibration when there are notifications or to create the click feedback when you are "clicking" the home button.
