Apple has yet again amazed us this year by releasing the long awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. Before getting into the review itself, I want to share my experience of getting the iPhone itself. I preordered an iPhone 7 plus through apple's website immediately after the iPhone 7 and 7plus is available for preorder at 9 September 2016 3:01 p.m. Singapore local time. I preordered the matte black colour or what apple called it "Black". I couldn't decide between the new Jet Black colour, a glossy black finish, or the matte black colour iPhone 7 plus. However, I've decided to order the matte black colour as Jet Black can't handle scratches really well and collects fingerprints. Right after the preorder starts, all the Jet Black iPhone 7 plus are sold out.

For those of you who waited in-line on the stores, you are out of luck as the stores only sells limited number of iPhone 7 and 7plus.

The box itself is very simple and Apple really nailed it at the unboxing experience. The iPhone picture on top is slightly raised to give that "3D effect" and it also shows what colour iPhone 7 plus you are getting inside the box. The sides are printed with "iPhone" and the front and back of the box contains the shiny Apple logo.

When opening the box, you are greeted with a small packet that have "designed by Apple in California" written on it. Inside the packet contains start up guides in few different languages, warranty and a pin to open the sim card tray on the side of the iPhone. Oh, there are also a couple of the famous Apple stickers inside (Who doesn't like stickers).

Inside the box also contains the Apple EarPods but instead having a 3.5mm headphone jack,it now have a lightning connector on the other end as the iPhone 7 and 7 plus lack any headphone jack.

Inside the box also contains a charging adapter and a lightning to USB cable which can be connected to the charging adapter via USB or plugged in to your computer.

Included together with the new EarPods is the lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. It is a very important adapter for those of you who want to listen to music using your iPhone 7 plus, be careful not to lose it (1 of these cost S$14, yikes!).

And of course, you also get your iPhone 7 plus inside the box.
